Careful thought goes into raising our puppies to ensure they become good members of the household. Our litters are raised in our home, and our puppies are exposed to all sorts of the commotion of everyday life.
Our breeding stock is tested, and all tests are listed in the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals database. We use Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and follow Puppy Culture protocols to ensure our puppies have the best chance of success when they leave our home.
We breed on a very limited basis, and each breeding is judiciously planned and selected to try to preserve the Shetland Sheepdog breed and adhere to the written breed standard in conformation and temperament. We follow the health testing recommendations set by the American Shetland Sheepdog Association (ASSA) to ensure we are doing all we can to produce healthy, long-living, and stable companions who are a joy to bring into your life.

Once our litters are born, we'll reach back out to talk through the breed, our dogs, and your hopes to make sure a dog from us is the right fit for you. As the puppies grow, we'll keep in touch to make sure we match you with the puppy that is the best fit.
Approved homes join our list, and we thoughtfully match each puppy to the family that suits it best. Our puppies are priced at $3,000.
Because we have litters so infrequently, we do not take deposits or reservations. However, if you are interested in a Sheltie now, I am also the Breeder Referral contact for the Blue Ridge Shetland Sheepdog Club, so please reach out and I can introduce you to some other breeders in our area.
